Terms of service
The agreement between your organization and Broos Action for using Broos Workspace: what we provide, what you’re responsible for, how billing works and what happens if either of us ends it.
1. Who this agreement is between
In short: Your organization and Broos Action.
These terms are between Broos Action Inc. (“Broos Action”, “we”) and the organization that signs up for Broos Workspace (“you”). The person who signs up confirms they may agree to them for the organization.
2. What Broos Workspace is
In short: Apps for your organization, run by us.
Broos Workspace is a set of apps for organizations: Mail, Files, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Talk & Meet, Calendar and Contacts, with an Admin console. Which apps and limits you have depends on your plan, shown on the pricing page and in Billing.
We may improve and change the apps. If we take away something your plan depends on, we tell your admins first.
3. Your accounts
In short: You look after who has access.
Your admins decide who has an account and what they can do. You’re responsible for what happens under your organization’s accounts, for keeping passwords safe, and for telling us quickly about any use you didn’t allow.
4. Your data
In short: What you put in stays yours.
Everything your organization stores in Broos Workspace (“your data”) belongs to you. We use it only to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy policy, and we don’t sell it.
You can export your data at any time while your account is open.
5. Acceptable use
In short: Use it lawfully and don’t harm others.
Don’t use Broos Workspace to break the law, send spam, spread malware, infringe other people’s rights, or try to get into accounts or systems that aren’t yours. We may suspend accounts that do, and we tell your admins why.
6. Plans, trials and billing
In short: Per person, monthly or yearly; nothing charged in a trial.
Plans are priced per person, monthly or yearly. A free trial costs nothing; to keep going after it, add a payment method. Payments are taken by card or mobile money through iMali.
If a payment fails we tell your billing admins and give you time to fix it. If it stays unpaid, we may pause your organization until it is settled.
7. Ending the agreement
In short: Either of us can end it, and you get your data out first.
You can cancel at any time from Billing. We can end the agreement if you seriously break these terms. When it ends, your organization becomes read-only for a period so you can export your data; after that, we delete it.
8. Our responsibility
In short: We do our best; some limits apply.
We work to keep Broos Workspace available and secure, but we provide it “as is”, without promises beyond those in these terms. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it.
9. Changes and governing law
In short: We tell you before terms change.
If we change these terms, we publish the new version here with the date it takes effect and tell your admins first. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
10. Contact
In short: Questions go to our team.
Questions about these terms: write to us through the contact page.
