Privacy policy
What personal data Broos Workspace collects, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and the choices you have.
1. Who looks after your data
In short: Your organization decides; we process it for them.
For the data your organization keeps in Broos Workspace (mail, files, documents, messages, calendars and contacts), your organization decides how it is used and Broos Action Inc. processes it on its behalf. For data about visitors to this website and about the people who sign up and pay, Broos Action is responsible.
2. What we collect
In short: Account details, what you store, and how the service is used.
- Account details: names, work emails, organization name, country and billing contact.
- What you store: the mail, files, documents and messages your organization keeps in the apps.
- Sign-in and security records: when and from where accounts sign in, and failed attempts.
- Website visits: pages viewed, and analytics only if you agree to it in the cookie banner.
3. Why we use it
In short: To run the service, keep it safe and bill for it.
We use personal data to provide and support Broos Workspace, to keep accounts secure, to send service and billing messages, and to meet legal obligations. We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t use what you store to advertise to you.
4. AI features
In short: Off unless your admin turns them on.
Writing help in Docs and similar AI features are off until your organization’s admin turns them on. When they are on, the text you ask about is sent to the AI provider set up for the service, only to answer that request.
6. How long we keep it
In short: While your account is open, then deleted.
We keep your organization’s data while its account is open. After an account is closed, there is a period to export it; then we delete it. Some billing records are kept for as long as tax law requires.
7. Your choices and rights
In short: See, correct, export or delete your data.
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data, and object to some uses of it. People in an organization should first ask their organization’s admins, who control that data. To ask us, write to us through the contact page and choose Security or privacy.
8. Security
In short: How we protect it.
Data moving between you and us is encrypted. Passwords are stored as hashes, and accounts can use two-step verification. Our Security & privacy page explains the rest, including what we don’t do yet.
9. Changes to this policy
In short: We tell you first.
We publish any new version here with the date it takes effect, and tell account holders about important changes before then.
